CHRISTMAS COOKIES

For Christmas Susie and Rick gave us stuff to make sugar cookies! The kids were so excited for them I finally (On Christmas Eve) made them for us to decorate!! I made the homemade frosting while TJ had the kids outside playing in the snow. When they came in from the cold we started decorating!

At first Madison and Jace were very helpful. They loved to frost and of course they loved to dump the whole thing of sprinkles on them after the frosting. Once Jace realized that he could eat the frosting that was the end of him helping!! No wonder we call him Chub!! He is constantly eating!!
Since Jace wasn't getting into trouble Madison thought she could give up on the helping and go to town on the frosting also!! What smart kids!!!!
Here is the finished project! We didn't make very many, TJ doesn't like sugar cookies and I knew I would end up eating them all to myself so we cut the recipe short!!
THANKS MOM FOR THE GREAT CHRISTMAS TRADITION!!
WE LOVE OUR GRANNY!!!

Looks yummy! Did you use mom's recipe? We always have tons of cookies and my kids like frosting them way better than eating them.

I used the frosting recipe she uses but we used the sugar cookie pack that suz gave us for Christmas. None of us really like the cookies I just think it is fun to frost!! I usually throw them all away!
